Ceramic Mug, pink mug in for coffee lovers, tea lovers or hot chocolate lovers!

The pottery mug is covered in pinks and warm stone glaze.

The mug is hand-thrown on my potter's wheel on the south coast of Dorset. When the mug has dried for a day, a handle is pulled from a lump of clay and attached to the mug. At the bottom of the handle, the MadeByPowley stamp is pressed into the clay. When it is bone dry, the mug is loaded into the kiln for its first firing - the bisque firing - which reaches 1050 degrees Celcius. The mug is then ready to glaze. After glazing, it then returns to the kiln for its final high firing which reaches 1240 degrees Celcius.
